FORM LETTER FOR VISITORS for IRC letter to congress

Dear { Congressman, Congresswoman, Senator, Governor },

 I am a { restaurant worker, a frequent diner at locally - owned restaurants, restaurant owner }FOR OWNERS: I have owned and operated a business in your district for x years, and employed y many constituents of yours in that time.". 

I'm writing to you today to consider the amendments to the CARES act as suggested by the International Restaurant Coalition during your next legislative session.  Restaurants operate under different business models than most small businesses. Under the current bill, they will not survive without your help.

Independent restaurants provide 3.2 Million jobs in 185,000 locations nationwide. That's an average of 17 employees at each location - and true small business. Small businesses that will never reopen without your support.

 We love the varied restaurant landscape of our cities.  There is more at stake here than jobs. When this pandemic passes, we want to return to a community that reflects our diversity, values, and spirit.  Please save our small restaurants. Our moms and pops need you.
